Coach(es) – Men’s National Flag Football Team

The American Football Federation Luxembourg is seeking motivated and knowledgeable coaches to join the Men’s National Flag Football Team coaching staff. This is an exciting opportunity to help lead Luxembourg’s top flag football athletes and represent the country in international competition.

Head Coach
Offensive Coordinator
Defensive Coordinator

Job Description

Role Overview

As a National Team Coach, you will be responsible for developing players, designing game strategies, and preparing the team for international tournaments. You will work closely with AFFL leadership and other coaching staff to build a competitive and cohesive national program.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and lead national team practices and camps.
Develop offensive, defensive, or positional strategies (depending on role).
Evaluate and select players during tryouts and training sessions.
Prepare game plans, playbooks, and scouting reports.
Coach the team during international competitions, scrimmages, and events.
Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented environment.
Communicate effectively with players, staff, and AFFL officials.
Represent the AFFL and Luxembourg with professionalism on and off the field.

Qualifications

Required:

Understanding of flag football rules, tactics, and player development.
Ability to lead, motivate, and teach athletes of various skill levels.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to attending scheduled practices, camps, and competitions.

Preferred (not mandatory):

Previous coaching experience in flag football, American football, or related sports.
Experience competing or coaching at a high level.
